This increase in stock has also raised the issues of liabilities of the Force for ensuring that:
- The Health, Safety and Welfare of Officers is maintained
- Equipment is fit for purpose
- Financial impact on replacing misused or lost equipment is minimised
- The Public are reassured that Officers are properly trained and equiped to handle emergencies
All equipment, however sourced, is catalogued and registered in the application together with optimum levels for maximum efficiencies. SPEQTRA works with a traffic light system to warn when stocks are reaching critical levels.
Maintenance schedules for all items are managed within the database and property owners receive system generated prompts and alerts when items require attention.

Details of Officers training records and their competence against National Skill sets and Occupational Standards may be recorded with underlying reports available for export.
