 Our experience in the Criminal Justice marketplace is clear to see, as is our ability to translate that expertise to other parts of the public sector including local authorities. However, KIM also have extensive experience supplying bespoke software solutions to commercial organisations. Our expertise at addressing complex business issues has been used to deliver a clinical trials monitoring application for a global pharmaceutical organisation that passed the rigorous testing regime applied by the United States Federal Drug Authority. Our ability to identify and deliver process improvement was recognised by the European arm of a global manufacturer. Initially developed for European requirements the application is now being evaluated for deployment on a global basis. Our expertise in deploying systems located in temporary sites on a project by project basis was leveraged by one of Europe's leading construction companies. Our flexibility with support arrangements (we operate a 24/7/365 support service for strategic applications) has led to us being identified by organisations across the globe. An American insurance company uses one of our applications to manage specialist underwriting policies, whilst an Australian company also uses our software, having been recommended by one of our UK clients. Such is the quality of our business model that our smallest client, a husband and wife team, were able to fund a specialised bespoke application which allowed them to increase productivity and profitability to the extent that they were able to avoid taking on staff (and every small business owner knows the burden of responsibility that occurs when managing a growing payroll).
