The National Intelligence Model has determined that Police Forces review their working practices for the briefing and subsequent tasking of officers. Central to this remains the need for timely, intelligence based information specifically directed to those who need to be aware. Forces currently using locally produced web pages, Word or Powerpoint are finding input is time consuming with obvious double entries. Reporting and audit functionality is limited. These deficiencies continue to be identified as areas for improvement by HMIC.
