Key Benefits

PDR

Forces will need to maintain PDR processes against a backdrop of lower training budgets and the need for reducing bureaucracy. In some instances the natural reaction is to cut back on the process. However, where this reaction is adopted the likely outcome would be a failure to support staff to achieve performance and an inefficient use of training resource. Forces will differ in terms of the development needed, resource available and priority given to PDR. Having successfully worked with 11 Forces to deliver a bespoke PDR, KIM understands these issues very well. A KIM PDR consultant will work with their clients to gather a thorough understanding of where Forces are in respect of current delivery and how they can move forward in whichever direction they need to go in order to achieve the required changes. The KIM PDR provides almost 200 optional settings, customised views and fully configurable wording, any of which may be provided within a single system. This flexibility allows for a customised look and feel with minimal additional cost.

Where used, PDR completion rates have increased, training costs have been targeted to areas of need and greater focus has been given to management and staff engagement. The relationship between management and staff strengthens when interactive dialogue is encouraged and the Organisation benefits when ownership of objectives are fully understood and managed.
